aria-hidden-focus

ARIA hidden element must not contain focusable elements

Why it matters

aria-hidden="true" removes an element from the accessibility tree, but if it still contains a focusable control, keyboard users can tab into a control that screen readers have been told doesn't exist.

How to fix it

Remove aria-hidden from any container that has focusable descendants, or make those descendants unfocusable (e.g. tabindex="-1", disabled) while hidden.
